We\'re currently recruiting a dedicated Driver - Transport to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Healthcare on a part time basis, contracted to 22.5 hours per week.As Driver - Transport, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of facility management with the wider facilities team. Here\'s what you need to know before applying:Your key responsibilities will include:a. Work to schedules set by the Transport Administrator to ensure that all duties are carried out safely, correctly and to the pre agreed times. b. Take care at all times of any goods, equipment and vehicles in their charge. Report immediately accidents, incidents or any delays that may disrupt the service. c. Ensure that the vehicle, contents and any other Trust property is secured at all times, when unattended and the contents hidden from view.d. Undertake statutory and any other training identified by the Transport Administrator.e. Immediately provide details of any notice given by the Police of their intention to take action, on any action against any driver, both on and off duty, which may affect the validity of the driving licence of the employee.f. Wear, whilst on duty, uniform clothing as provided by the Trust and present a smart, neat appearance at all times.g. Identify and avoid potential hazards whilst making deliveries away from base. Accept responsibility for the safe moving hand handling of expensive products, equipment and controlled drugs.h.
