Job Description
The In house Property Solicitor will be:* Managing a varied caseload of real estate matters including lease renewals, licences to alter, assignments, and estate management work* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a range of legal documents and agreements* Conducting due diligence exercises and preparing detailed reports in line with internal procedures* Advising stakeholders on landlord and tenant matters and wider property issues* Assisting with the development and improvement of legal processes and template documentation* Attending meetings with internal stakeholders and external third parties* Providing guidance, support, and feedback to colleagues within the wider legal team* Keeping up to date with legal developments, industry changes, and best practice
The Successful Applicant
The In house Property Solicitor should be / have;* A solicitor with around 1 to 4 years PQE within commercial property law* Experienced in handling lease renewals, landlord and tenant matters, and transactional property work* Comfortable drafting and negotiating a range of legal agreements* Commercially minded with strong attention to detail* Be capable of building relationships with stakeholders at all levels* Keen to develop within an in house legal environment
