We are looking for a Project Manager with strong experience in operational change and commercial projects within a financial services environment. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract with the potential to go permanent. This is a hybrid role that requires up to 3 days in their offices in Surrey.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead end-to-end delivery of operational and regulatory projects within a complex programme environment.
2. Establish project structures, governance, plans, RAID logs, and status reporting.
3. Ensure that projects meet regulatory deadlines, business objectives, and operational realities.
4. Deliver initiatives linked to FCA and insurance regulations (., Consumer Duty, operational resilience, complaints handling, conduct requirements).
5. Engage and influence stakeholders across operations, compliance, finance, and senior leadership.
6. Facilitate workshops, steering groups, and decision-making forums.
7. Build trust quickly and keep diverse stakeholders aligned to timelines and outcomes.
8. Proactively identify project risks, regulatory exposures, and delivery blockers.
9. Ensure strong documentation, structured governance, and audit-ready project artefacts.
Skills & Experience Required:
10. Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering operational, business, or regulatory change projects.
11. Experience in insurance or broader financial services.
12. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
13. Skilled at managing non‑technical business projects.
14. Confident influencing and managing stakeholders in a complex, fast-paced environment.
15. Strong governance, risk management, and planning capability.
