At Hartewell Homecare, we provide high-quality, person-centred care that supports individuals to live independently in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
* Support clients in maintaining their independence and dignity while ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes to the care manager.
* Foster positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals through effective communication.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in IT and care practices relevant to the role.
* Ensure that the care environment is clean, safe, and welcoming for all clients.
Experience
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
* Familiarity with care plans and the ability to follow them accurately is highly desirable.
* Strong communication skills in English are essential for interacting with clients and colleagues effectively.
* A valid driving licence and access to vehicle

Requirements:

* Driving license and access to a vehicle.
* Previous care experience is helpful but not required – full training provided
* Availability to undertake work on some evenings and weekends.
