Job Title: Residential Support Worker – Children's Home
Location: Wellington, Telford (TF1)
Salary: £29,000 – £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: Rotational shifts, including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins

We are now looking for passionate, resilient, and committed Residential Support Workers to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day care, support, and supervision to children in a homely and therapeutic environment
* Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people to promote emotional wellbeing and personal development
* Support with daily routines including meals, education, activities, and personal care
* Maintain clear and accurate records, including daily logs, incident reports and care plans
* Work collaboratively with the wider care team, social workers, therapists, and other professionals
* Ensure safeguarding and safety procedures are always followed
* Promote independence, life skills and positive behaviour in line with individual care plans
What We're Looking For
* Experience working with children or young people in a residential or similar care setting (preferred)
* A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Resilience and the ability to manage challenging behaviours
* A willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends and sleep-ins
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
