A fast-growing international SaaS business is looking to appoint a Senior Solutions Consultant to join its expanding pre-sales function across the EMEA region. The organisation delivers modern financial performance and planning software used by finance teams globally, helping businesses improve forecasting, reporting, budgeting, and operational decision-making.
With continued investment into product innovation and go-to-market growth, the business is looking for a commercially minded and technically capable Solutions Consultant who can operate as a trusted advisor throughout the sales process.
Role Overview
The Senior Solutions Consultant will play a critical role in supporting enterprise and mid-market sales opportunities across the UK market. Acting as the bridge between commercial and technical stakeholders, the successful individual will lead discovery conversations, deliver tailored product demonstrations, support solution design, and articulate business value to prospective customers.
This position requires a consultative approach, strong stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to understand complex finance and operational processes within customer environments.
The role is fully remote and offers the opportunity to work closely with high-performing sales, product, and customer teams within a scaling SaaS environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Partner with Account Executives throughout the full sales cycle to support new business opportunities
* Lead customer discovery sessions to understand operational challenges, technical requirements, and business objectives
* Deliver tailored product demonstrations aligned to customer use cases and industry-specific pain points
* Translate complex customer requirements into clear solution recommendations
* Support RFPs, RFIs, proof of concepts, and technical validation exercises
* Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and Technology functions
* Collaborate with internal product and implementation teams to ensure solution alignment
* Provide market and customer feedback to influence product direction and positioning
* Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and emerging market trends
* Support the wider go-to-market team with technical enablement and solution messaging
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience within a Solutions Consultant, Solution Engineer, Pre-Sales Consultant, or similar customer-facing SaaS role
* Experience working with Finance, FP&A, EPM, ERP, or Office of the CFO related software solutions would be highly advantageous
* Strong consultative and discovery-led sales approach
* Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Experience delivering tailored software demonstrations in a complex B2B sales environment
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to support enterprise sales cycles
* Excellent presentation and stakeholder management skills
* Comfortable working cross-functionally within a fast-paced SaaS business
* Experience supporting mid-market and enterprise customers
* Strong problem-solving and solution design capabilities
