We are currently recruiting for a Production Manager vacancy. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business at a management level and play a key part in the delivery of a world class service with plenty of career progression opportunity.

WORKING HOURS

1. Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm (40 hours per week)

WHAT IS INVOLVED

To support the cleaning and inspection, assembly and packing of sterile equipment to hospital and community settings. Responsible for providing a high-quality service for the cleaning, inspection, assembly and packing of sterile equipment for hospital and community settings.

This role will involve working in a fast-paced environment, where quality and precision is vital. Full training and support is provided in a programme to help staff reach their full potential, learning a wide range of hospital instruments and working in different functional areas of the sterilisation process.

DUTIES

2. Responsible for productivity, quality & delivery of decontaminated products to the customer in accordance with our service level agreements.
3. To monitor and control the use of capital equipment within recognised performance and efficiency measures.
4. To assume prime site responsibility for all Health and Safety Policy issues ensuring that all activities comply with Health and Safety procedures and guidelines. To ensure that all designated staff are informed and trained appropriately.
5. To act as site Fire Controller.
6. To proactively lead all staff putting forward suggestions for continuous improvement, innovation and corrective actions as appropriate and ensuring the implementation of all feasible suggestions.
7. To monitor and ensure that all product despatched conform to accepted Company Quality guidelines and procedures, engendering and promoting a quality centred Organisational culture.
8. To effectively control and manage the planned maintenance of the premises, resolving occurring faults, and effectively liaising with all personnel as required.
9. To effectively plan and schedule all production to the agreed specification to meet customer requirements.
10. To approve test reports on process equipment as User as defined in NHS guidance.
11. To actively monitor absence levels of staff maintaining and analysing data as appropriate, communicating with Team leaders and members of staff, interviewing staff as required and referring employees to the Company Occupational Health provider as required.

DUTIES CONT'D

12. To coach, support and guide all staff in accordance with the principles of Synergy Health Performance Management policies and procedures, ensuring the successful operation of the system throughout the site, and to act as an induction mentor as required.
13. To agree appropriate financial parameters and budgets ensuring rigorous monitoring and complete adherence to financial targets.
14. To lead and actively promote participation in all Company communications initiatives including team briefing, employee forums, and staff meetings as required.
15. To undertake any other duties or tasks as reasonably required.
16. To manage the on-call management service to maintain emergency services to the customer.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

21. Experience leading teams (including support functions).
22. Comfortable with IT tools and systems.
23. Can adapt to changing schedules and is flexible.
24. Has previous supervisory or management experience.
25. Strong communication skills and target driven.
26. Pays close attention to detail.
27. Understands regulations and policies.
28. Prioritises health and safety.
