The post involves all aspects of secretarial and administrative support to a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist and their team, as well as a Senior Manager.
This role requires an experienced Personal Assistant with strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication abilities. The candidate must be capable of taking accurate formal minutes over extended periods. The post holder will help coordinate all aspects of patient care, involving close liaison with Psychologists, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, and the patient's family and friends.
Arnold Lodge is a 102-bed Medium Secure Psychiatric unit providing treatment and rehabilitation to mentally disordered offenders. It is part of Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust but located in Leicester.
The role requires excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, with experience in accessing databases being advantageous, although training on our electronic patient record system will be provided.
You should be able to prioritise your workload to support the clinical team and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary team members, healthcare professionals, and patient relatives or carers.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, produce accurate work reliably, be organised, diplomatic, flexible, and maintain confidence and calmness in all situations.
