Robert Half is partnering with a leading UK retail organisation to hire an Apple Systems Engineer for an initial 6-month contract, with a strong view to permanent.
This role will act as a senior technical escalation point across the IT service desk while owning Apple-focused systems, endpoint management, and day-to-day IT operations within the London office. The position will play a key role in stabilising, improving, and scaling IT support as the organisation builds a London-based IT team.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as a senior escalation point across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line IT support
2. Deliver high-quality, customer-focused support across macOS and Windows environments
3. Own and continuously improve IT service desk processes and best-practice delivery
4. Manage Apple device lifecycle management using Jamf and Microsoft InTune
5. Lead employee onboarding and offboarding, including device provisioning and access management
6. Support a remote workforce, including networking, VPN, and secure access requirements
7. Troubleshoot server-related issues and collaborate with wider IT stakeholders as required
