Job Description
Software Support Technician required in Brighton. My client is a well established Software company providing specialist manufacturing software – they are now seeking an intelligent and motivated individual to join their existing support team.
The right applicant must enjoy problem-solving, have a willingness to learn and be enthusiastic. This position requires working independently to solve customer support issues, operating close,y with other members of the support department and liaising with the development team.
Position Overview
1. Receive incoming support calls and emails directly from customers
2. Meticulous logging of all customer calls
3. Conduct research to reproduce and resolve customer issues
4. Completing various projects as assigned
5. Escalation and reproduction of technical issues for the development team
6. Software testing, QA tasks and Technical documentation
Position Requirements
7. Experience in a similar support role
8. Enthusiasm for problem-solving
9. Must have strong Maths & Science GCSES
10. Degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Sciences or similar
11. Ability to be productive without supervision
12. Good communication and organisation skills
13. Driving License preferred
Position Remuneration
14. Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm
15. Salary £26 000 – 30,000 Dependant on experience
16. 22 days holiday + bank holidays
