The Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team at Amazon is fundamental to our operations – they keep vital machinery running at all times. As an RME Technician, you’ll maintain a wide range of equipment and workspaces while upholding Health and Safety best practices. You’ll help keep colleagues safe and prevent machine downtime, boosting the availability and quality of our equipment and enhancing the operational environment.
Responsibilities
* Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment
* Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse
* Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness
* Uphold all health and safety policies and practices
* Support the development and progression of on‑site apprentices
* Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
Preferred Qualifications
* Associate’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical
* Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety standards
* Experience with robotic operation and maintenance
