An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join the paediatric and neonatal team as Lead Paediatric Nurse. We are looking to appoint a motivated Lead Paediatric Nurse with a proven track record of transforming services who will provide professional Paediatric Nursing advice/support/leadership to the team. You will be responsible for ensuring standards of clinical practice, assist with governance, patient experience, patient centred care and workforce development are in place to maximise the impact of nursing on service change and quality improvement. The successful candidate will play a vital role in to taking a leadership role and support various agendas such as: GIRFEC, Child Protection, Scottish Patient Safety Programme, as agreed within the Women, Children’s and Sexual Health Unit, as well as taking leadership responsibility for one or more streams of work across the wider NHS Forth Valley system. The successful candidate will help us to create strategic plans and improve the quality of services.
