About the Role
A brand‑new opportunity for a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer in our Bristol office. The role supports and delivers electrical design for a wide range of project types and sizes, working within a multidisciplinary team to achieve the highest standards and secure repeat and new business. You will also support and develop technically competent, collaborative, and highly engaged team members.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Day‑to‑day technical delivery of electrical design services for multi‑disciplinary projects across various building sectors.
* Lead development of initial strategic concepts, ensuring solutions meet brief and regulatory standards.
* Interact regularly with internal and external stakeholders, attending project meetings and translating the brief within the project team.
* Help monitor fee expenditure, resources, and work delivered in partnership with the team leader.
* Mentor and support our ‘next‑gen’ professionals, including apprentices and graduates.
About You
* Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or in a closely related role, with a track record of delivering complex projects.
* Experience of modern technical delivery processes and use of relevant software/tools such as BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux and Relux.
* Demonstrable experience working with clients, contractors and architects in a design‑oriented consultancy role.
* Self‑awareness, an open mind and a spirit of generosity.
* Experience supporting others to develop knowledge, skills and confidence.
