24 Hour Call Out HGV Technician Required in Worthing,West Sussex:
1. Up to £43,000 Basic Salary OTE £70,000
2. Monday – Friday: 07:00 to 16:00
3. 1 in 2 weekends on call

Your Duties of an HGV Technician with our Client:
10. Diagnose, repair and service the range of manufacturer products in accordance with manufacturer's work specifications.
11. Through the use of diagnostic equipment and systematic approach, ensure vehicle faults are diagnosed and rectified.
12. Meet with customers to identify and clearly understand problems as and when required.
13. Ensure full understanding of latest technology introduced on the vehicle range and how to diagnose and repair faults on them.
14. Carry out diagnosis, repairs and servicing to the highest standards and to the appropriate specification.
15. Ensure all work is carried out observing safe working practices of self and others.
16. Liaise and seek advice from colleagues and supervisors in situations that are over and above work specified.
17. Check level and quality of work through use of diagnostic equipment and road testing vehicles after work has been carried out. Liaise with Service Advisor.
18. Complete relevant service documentation (job sheets, PDI's, service reports) in line with brand standards, warranty and site requirements.
19. Ensure that workshop housekeeping standards are maintained at all times including the use of special and personal tools.
What our Client expects of their HGV Technician:
20. Be a qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three or equivalent)
21. Experience with Commercial Vehicle / HGV Repair
22. Competency in IT, Maths and English
23. Strong attention to detail
24. Good organisational skills
25. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
26. To be able to work effectively as a team player
27. Full UK Driving Licence
