We are working with a well-established law firm seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join its debt recovery team. This is an opportunity to handle a varied caseload within a busy and supportive disputes environment.
The Role
You will manage debt recovery matters from initial instruction through to resolution, including defended claims, insolvency-related work and enforcement.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing defended and disputed debt matters
* Drafting legal documents and preparing cases for hearing
* Handling insolvency processes including statutory demands and petitions
* Advising on and progressing enforcement action post-judgment
* Liaising with clients, courts and third parties
* Ensuring compliance with relevant rules and maintaining accurate records
Candidate Requirements
* Experience in debt recovery or civil litigation
* Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
* Good drafting, organisation and communication skills
* Ability to manage a caseload with supervision
* Proactive and detail-oriented approach
