About The Role
HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is required, and IT skills are preferred. The ideal candidate will communicate considerately and kindly with residents and co-workers.
The Maintenance Operative will ensure residents live in a well-maintained environment by conducting inspections, audits, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities include replacing taps or mixer valves, fitting extractor fans, repairing timber on windows, and decorating, all carried out with kindness and professionalism.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the procedures for reporting concerns. All staff must attend safeguarding training and seek advice or escalate issues when necessary.
