Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in a care home setting. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and wellbeing at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care and emotional support to residents.
* Assist residents with daily living activities such as meals, mobility, and hygiene.
* Administer prescribed medication accurately, including use of eMAR systems.
* Promote independence, dignity, and respect for residents.
* Implement and follow individual care plans.
* Respond to emergencies and incidents in line with PMVA/MAPA training.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a care home or healthcare setting.
* Medication administration training (essential).
* Valid PMVA or MAPA certification (essential).
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
* Driver with a full UK driving license (preferred).
* Able to start immediately.
