Key Responsibilities
Act independently to provide a full comprehensive specialist service of assessment, diagnosis, treatment and appropriate management, onward referral and discharge to a complex range of patients referred to the service.
Supervise occupational therapists, assistant practitioners, clinical support workers and occupational therapy students.
Develop and deliver training programmes for a wide range of professionals and carers to educate carers and significant others about the therapy process and interventions relating to the management of patients’ medical and social needs.
