The School and Role
I am proud to be working in partnership with an established school based in the Dudley area who are looking to recruit a passionate Lead PE Teacher to lead their PE Department. You will be responsible for helping to build, develop and implement the PE curriculum and work with other PE staff to provide the best possible education for students. Knowledge of the various curriculums such as BTEC, GCSE’s and A Levels would be an advantage.
Other responsibilities may including timetabling of activities
* Development of staff within the department.
* Providing and maintaining extra-curricular activities
* Organising sports fixtures
The school are looking for an experienced teacher with excellent leadership skills and behaviour management skills. You should have excellent communication skills and be confident in networking with a range of people including pupils, teachers, school management team and parents.
Requirements
The successful Lead PE Teacher will have;
* Experience of teaching PE to KS3,KS4 and KS5 Students
* Excellent curriculum knowledge.
* Leadership skills
* Dedication to providing first class sports provision to the school.
* Dedicated to help children succeed in the subject
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
* A suitable qualification to teach PE PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
* Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK
