Your new role
This full‑time Year 4 teaching role is to cover a maternity leave for two terms, starting in September. You will take responsibility for planning, delivering and assessing engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
Working within a supportive team, you will have the opportunity to contribute positively to the wider life of the school while maintaining a well‑organised and purposeful classroom environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships and making a meaningful impact over a set period.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Qualified Teacher Status
2. Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
3. Confident behaviour management with a calm, consistent approach
4. Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment expectations
5. Ability to plan engaging lessons that support a range of learners
6. Goodmunication skills and a positive, team‑focused attitude
7. Reliability, organisation and amitment to creating a supportive classroom environment
