Creation of inbound, inventory, and outbound forecasts and execution for newly established warehouse functions
The mission of the Special Fulfillment team is to build and operate an operation network that provides new services to Amazon Japan customers while collaborating with multiple stakeholders. We are looking for Sr. Specialist to plan and execute operations for our newly launched warehouse function.
Key job responsibilities
• Create plans to optimize inventory placement, and executes the short-term strategy for JP Operations covers the planning horizon of 13 weeks.
• Own, execute, measure, and support accuracy metrics for multiple network.
• Navigate through ambiguity, managing and coordinating multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the cross-functional processes and delivering on commitments.
• Work closely with partner teams such as Retail business team, FBA business team, Fulfillment centers (FC), External Fulfillment (EF), Amazon Transport Service (ATS), AMZL, Relay Operation Center (ROC), Finance team and SCOT Team.
• Data/Process analysis to root cause issues within existing processes and recommend improvements
• Writing business documents to communicate ideas/issues and align stakeholders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Business level of English Communication
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
