About the Role
Following significant investment in a commercial DTF (Direct to Film) printing machine, we are creating a new role for a Print Production Lead to take full responsibility of our print and heat press operations.
We work in a fast-paced sports retail environment that continues to expand and are looking for someone who wants to grow with us, playing a key role in our success. With demand for our customised sportswear and workwear growing rapidly, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
* Machine Operation: Learn to operate and maintain our new DTF print machine to produce consistently high-quality prints for customer orders.
* Consumables Management: Monitor and manage consumables (films, inks, powders, vinyl, etc.) and order supplies in a timely manner to ensure uninterrupted production.
* Workflow Management: Oversee the flow of products into the press room, prioritising orders in collaboration with the sales team to meet deadlines.
* Heat Press Application: Accurately apply prints and vinyl to garments and products using heat press machines (full training provided).
* Quality Control & Finishing: Inspect finished items for accuracy and quality, ensuring every order is packed correctly and delivered on time.
* Collaboration with Design: Work closely with our in-house graphic designer to ensure artwork and logos are reproduced correctly for print.
* Process & Efficiency: Help streamline production processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and excellent customer satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
Essential
* Strong attention to detail – precision and accuracy are key.
* A proactive team player who can also work independently when required.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
* Physically fit and happy to be on your feet for extended periods.
* Organised, reliable, and eager to develop as the company grows.
Desirable
* A good understanding of graphics, logos, and colour accuracy.
* Experience with heat press machinery (training can be provided).
* Previous experience in the print or garment industry.
