A great opportunity has arisen for a finance assistant to join this well established business in Manchester city centre.
Reporting to the Group financial controller, you will form part of a small finance team with daily, weekly and monthly operations of the business. The team work collaboratively together to achieve their objectives and all team members hold strong sense of ownership across their delivery.
Duties include:
1. submission of various reports, returns and compliance.
2. Assist in quarterly board reports
3. sales invoicing and credit control for other group subsidiaries.
4. Finance administration tasks including filing & managing the central Finance email.
5. Invoicing
6. cashflows - assist with the cashflow reports
7. payment runs - supplier/creditor payment run process.
8. Monthly Cost Analysis
9. Assisting in the building of financial processes for the business.
10. Assist in the transition of finance software.
11. Monthly bookkeeping revenue, costs, payroll, etc
12. maintain accurate purchase ledger, sales ledger and bank transactions.
YOU:
13. Studying towards finance qualification - AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA
14. Experience working in an accounts environment
15. Experience with AR and AP
16. Excellent attention to details
17. Ability to work independently as well as in a team
