SEN Teaching Assistant – Full-Time (Swinton, January Start) Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Swinton, seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This full-time role (8:30am – 3:30pm) begins in January and involves providing personalised support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), both on a one-to-one basis and in small group settings. Key Responsibilities Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN, individually and in small groups Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities Support the implementation, monitoring, and review of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Help to maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals to promote pupil progress Adapt your approach to meet the evolving needs of individual learners Candidate Requirements GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Previous experience supporting children with SEN A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with young learners Excellent communication and teamwork skills A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare Level 2 Safeguarding certification (training can be provided if required) Why Join Teaching Personnel?
