We are growing internationally and are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Southampton team to support and scale our operations.
The Role:
We are looking for a sharp, data-driven Finance Analyst to support our UK operations. You will translate technical and project milestones into actionable financial insights. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will take ownership of budgeting, project cost analysis, and day-to-day financial operations.
What You'll Do:
• Manage day-to-day financial operations, including AP, AR, and expense processing.
• Perform bank reconciliations and manage multi-currency accounts to support international projects.
• Monitor project and R&D budgets, reporting variances and financial insights.
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready records for internal and grant reporting purposes.
About You / Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Part-qualified or Finalist (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA) — highly desirable.
• 2+ years' experience in a finance or data analyst role, preferably within technology, manufacturing, or engineering.
• Experience with AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and multi-currency transactions.
• Strong proficiency in Xero, Sage, or NetSuite (multi-currency modules).
• Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
