Next Generation have been appointed to recruit for a Maintenance Manager to work for a well-established global leading manufacturing business based near Tewkesbury. As the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of Maintenance Engineers whilst having the ability to lead from the front.
Duties of the Maintenance Manager:
Managing and supporting the maintenance department
Managing reactive breakdowns to minimise downtime and disruption to production
Overseeing Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities
Ensuring maintenance tasks are completed and recorded accurately within the CMMS system
Supporting training and development of maintenance team members
Working closely with production and other departments to coordinate priorities and handovers
Monitoring equipment performance and supporting improvements to Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
Managing shift documentation, permits, and maintenance records
Ensuring all maintenance activities are completed safely and in compliance with company procedures
Supporting continuous improvement and engineering best practice across the site
The successful candidate for the Maintenance Managers position will have the following experience:
Five years experience working as a Maintenance Manager / Supervisor (Essential)
Either 17th or 18th edition certified (Essential)
Electrically bias (Essential)
Previous experience working with turned parts or a machining environment (Desirable)
