Salary: Up to £40, % Bonus + Study Support
Are you looking for a role where you can sharpen your management accounting skills while still gaining exposure to year-end and statutory reporting? This opportunity offers just that—progression, variety, and the chance to play a key part in the growth of a business operating at the heart of the renewable energy sector.
We're working with a leading investment group in Nottingham City Centre who are looking to add a Management Accountant to their expanding finance team. It's a chance to join a growing company involved in renewable energy and infrastructure projects, with plenty of scope to learn and progress.
Why join?
• Be part of a collaborative, supportive, and social finance team
• Benefit from tailored training and a clear route for progression
• Study support provided for ACCA, CIMA, or ACA with exam leave
• Flexible hybrid setup (2 days from home each week)
• Contribute to a sector making a genuine impact on sustainability and decarbonisation
What you'll be doing
• Preparing monthly management accounts, including reconciliations, journals, and reporting packs
• Supporting quarterly reporting and providing analysis to aid decision-making
• Playing an active role in budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
• Partnering with teams across the business, providing insight and commentary to non-finance colleagues
• Getting involved in year-end close, statutory accounts, audit preparation, and tax work
• Building an understanding of renewable energy projects and directly contributing to the performance of live assets
What we're looking for
• A part-qualified or finalist accountant (ACCA / CIMA / ACA) with a grounding in management or financial accounting
• Strong Excel and data skills, with confidence in handling detail
• Exposure to statutory accounts is desirable but not essential
• Someone ambitious, proactive, and eager to develop in a fast-paced environment
The package
• Up to £40,000 base salary
• 10% annual bonus
• 25 days holiday (rising with service to 30)
• 5% pension contribution
• Private Medical Insurance (PMI)
• Share scheme
• Enhanced maternity and paternity policies
• Full study support with exam leave
If you're looking for a role that offers both core management accounting experience and the chance to stay involved in statutory reporting, all while being supported in your studies, this could be a brilliant next step.
