IT Infrastructure Analyst | Cambridge | On-Site 4 days per week | Permanent | Up to £50,000 P.A
Peaple Talent have exclusively partnered with a sector leading client looking to recruit an IT Infrastructure Analyst on a full-time permanent basis.
Our client is looking for an IT Infrastructure Analyst to join their team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of infrastructure projects. This is a hands-on position where you’ll work closely with the IT Infrastructure Lead and collaborate with a wider global IT team.

Key Experience Required:
* Take ownership of the IT Service Management toolset, ensuring it is effectively maintained and utilized.
* Serve as an escalation point for the service desk, helping to assign and resolve issues promptly while clearly communicating task urgency and impact.
* Keep accurate, well-organized records of infrastructure assets, configurations, workflows, and changes to support clarity, compliance, and scalability.
* Manage the setup, upkeep, and support of core IT infrastructure, covering servers, storage systems, cloud platforms, and endpoint devices.
* Uphold our client’s IT security policies through regular patching, enforcing MFA, and managing access rights. Carry out vulnerability scans end ensure identified risks are addressed.
* Assist with the operation and maintenance of our client’s global network, including switches, routers, firewalls, and connectivity solutions across all offices (WAN,LAN and wireless).
* Continuously monitor system health, anticipate potential problems, and take the lead in resolving any infrastructure disruptions or incidents.
Key Experience Required:
* Demonstrated experience in a comparable IT infrastructure or systems support role, with a solid background in managing enterprise-level environments.
* Knowledge of ITIL v3 principles or IT service management best practices is beneficial.
* Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure Services, including Virtual Machines, Entra ID, networking components, Logic Apps, and Storage Accounts.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a methodical approach to troubleshooting and the initiative to find solutions using public resources.
* Deep understanding of Windows Server technologies, particularly Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy administration.
* Comfortable writing PowerShell scripts and automating routine infrastructure tasks to improve efficiency.
* Good grasp of core networking concepts, such as LAN and WAN infrastructure, VPNs, and firewall configurations.
* Hands-on familiarity with remote monitoring and management tools like Microsoft Intune, NinjaOne, and Jamf.
* Previous experience working with Cisco Meraki product is an added advantage.
