Responsibilities of this position involve the following:
* Leading and managing the History department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning
* Developing and implementing an engaging and challenging curriculum that excites and inspires students
* Mentoring and supporting colleagues, fostering a collaborative and innovative team environment
* Analysing data to monitor student progress and implement effective intervention strategies
* Promoting a love of history throughout the school and wider community
Requirements for this role:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in History
* Have proven experience in teaching History at all key stages, including GCSE and A:Level
* Be an outstanding practitioner with a deep subject knowledge and a passion for your subject
* Possess strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate others
* Be committed to raising attainment and providing the best possible education for all students
