Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for cyber security? A fast-growing, well-established cyber security provider is seeking a talented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a real impact in a mission-led organisation dedicated to protecting people, systems, and data.
The Opportunity
As an SDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective clients, playing a key role in shaping their first impression. You'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, qualifying leads, and supporting cross-sell and upsell efforts with existing customers. Collaborating closely with both the marketing and sales teams, you’ll execute targeted outreach strategies and book high-quality meetings that drive pipeline growth.
This role is perfect for someone with previous sales or lead generation experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow their career within cyber security.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify key decision-makers within target accounts through research and outreach.
* Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media.
* Qualify inbound and outbound leads to build a strong sales pipeline.
* Book discovery calls and meetings for the senior sales team.
* Support marketing campaigns by responding to and nurturing leads.
* Maintain accurate records of all interactions and progress using CRM tools.
* Stay current on industry trends, cyber threats, and emerging solutions.
* Collaborate with marketing to improve messaging and outreach effectiveness.
What Success Looks Like
* Consistently exceeding monthly targets for qualified meetings set.
* Demonstrating a strong contribution to lead pipeline quality and conversion rates.
* Timely and professional follow-up on all prospects and inbound interest.
* Maintaining clean, detailed records within the CRM system.
* Evidencing learning and development around cyber security and sales best practices.
What We're Looking For
* 2+ years’ experience in sales, lead generation, or a customer-facing commercial role.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Confidence with cold outreach and objection handling.
* Strong organisational skills and a self-motivated attitude.
* A genuine interest in cyber security and technology.
* Experience with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, or similar is a plus.
