The top priority of all Warranty Staff is the delivery of outstanding service to our Customers. The primary function of the Warranty Specialist is to ensure the efficient management of Warranty claims as well as maintaining the procedures of the Company warranty policy, maximizing warranty recuperation from suppliers. Main tasks & responsibilities Supports the McCloskey Dealer Network through the day-to-day handling of dealer warranty claims on the McCloskey online claim management system. Responsibility for claim verification through checking machines records & history, warranty registrations, claim history and photographs/videos. Application of company warranty policy in claim decision-making as set out in the terms & conditions. Communicates directly with various departments within the company such as Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Production and Parts to highlight any key issues to be addressed. Data and trend analysis on any repetitive issues. Responsibility for RMAs, co-ordinating all relevant part returns for root cause analysis. Liaising directly with relevant suppliers for any quality issues. Detailed upkeep of records and parts shipping histories. Monthly warranty meetings with key Dealer accounts. Checking of Bill of Materials (BOMs) on MRP system. Monitoring Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and their possible impact on Aftermarket. Expected outcomes To respond to Warranty claims in a timely manner. Manage claims through the relevant systems and update accordingly. Build relationships with the Dealer network and other departments. Gain an understanding of the product range and its working. Highlight trends from claims and address. Desired education & background Previous knowledge of McCloskey machinery an advantage. Understanding of commercial side of the business. Previous experience with ERP systems such as Epicor, 123 insight or SAPman. Previous experience of Pulse and Creo to check machine models. Basic understanding of technical drawings and hydraulic and electric schematics. Previous Warranty experience Advantageous
