Job Purpose
The role of the Parts Manager is to:
1. Manage the sourcing and supply of manufacturer vehicle parts.
2. Achieve parts sales volumes and profit objectives through motivating and developing the parts team.

Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure effective stock control and warehouse management through regular reviews of key operating controls (negative stock reports, PDRs, margin and volume performance) in line with manufacturer and business requirements.
2. Monitor and evaluate customer needs and competitor activity in the parts market, ensuring relevant and targeted campaigns.
3. Maintain customer service standards and parts processes that meet brand standards and business needs.
4. Ensure predictive parts ordering to maintain high levels of customer service.
5. Develop and implement campaigns within specific market sectors to maximize commercial opportunities.
6. Review parts accessory displays regularly to reflect sales trends and opportunities.
7. Communicate and collaborate with other departments to develop the business and foster team ethos.
8. Recruit and select parts team members in line with organizational and manufacturer requirements.
9. Maintain performance standards of the parts team through coaching and performance management.
10. Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, ensuring staff comply with Health and Safety requirements.
Skills & Requirements
* Understanding of vehicle design, function, and parts location.
* Proven experience with vehicle parts and stock management.
* Attention to detail with accurate work quality.
* Competency in numeracy, literacy, and IT.
* Ability to plan, organize, and meet deadlines.
* Energy and enthusiasm.
* Smart appearance.
Experience
* Relevant motor industry experience, including stock management.
Hours:
Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm or 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm
