Job Title: Bioresources Maintenance Technician
Salary: circa £55k depending on experience (including 15% shift allowance) + overtime available
Employment Type: Full-time, 40.25 hours/week, 7-day working pattern

About the Role:
Reporting to the Bioresources Operations Manager, you will be part of a site maintenance team responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Water Recycling Bioresources assets. Your work will support the safe operation of these assets, contributing to wastewater treatment, renewable energy production, and bioresource management aligned with sustainability and Net Zero goals.
Responsibilities:
1. Diagnose, repair, and rectify faults in electrical and instrumentation systems.
2. Perform planned preventative maintenance and condition-based proactive maintenance.
3. Support operational teams to ensure safe and efficient operation of assets.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Industrial electrical apprenticeship
* NVQ Level 3 or 4 (electrical or engineering maintenance) or equivalent
* ONC/OND in electrical engineering
* City and Guilds Parts 1 & 2 in electrical engineering or equivalent
* Proven electrical experience in an industrial environment
* Knowledge of 3-phase switch gear, control systems, telemetry, actuated valves, and motors
* Strong health and safety awareness
* Full UK driving license
Desirable Skills:
* DSEAR COMPEX training (training provided)
* Knowledge of gas and steam systems (training provided)
