Mental Health Support Worker (Salary: 24043.50 - 24843.00 per annum) Permanent, Full-time at BCHA.

Position: We need Support Workers to join the Mental Health Service in Poole. This is a role where you can genuinely make a real difference as part of a dedicated team of professionals.
You will act as a key Support Worker for a number of customers, carrying out regular one-to-one sessions, enabling positive, trusting and respectful relationships to be built and to help them move forward to independent living.

* be a good communicator and able to facilitate support for customers;
* enable and empower customers to build their own recovery plans;
* provide practical, emotional support and encouragement;
* actively promote customer participation in services and activities;
* liaise effectively with colleagues, external agencies and service providers;
* be empathic and non-judgemental;
* be self-motivated, able to use your initiative and be a great team player;
* be flexible, adaptable, calm and considered.
Qualifications
* good communication skills and ability to facilitate support for customers;
* ability to enable customers to build their own recovery plans;
* experience with client groups or willingness to learn;
* experience with person-centred and psychologically informed approaches is desirable.
Shift Times
Early: 06:30am – 14:30pm; Mid: 11:00am – 19:00pm; Late: 13:30pm – 21:30pm
