Trainee Special Process Quality Engineer

Bowmill Metal Treatments is currently seeking a Trainee Special Process Quality Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a professional manner and excellent timekeeping, be self-motivated with a willingness to learn and desire to succeed. Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team are essential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining quality process conditions utilising preventative measures to ensure all product processing is conducted defect free, minimising and eliminating non-conformance. To manage the FAIR process in accordance with the applicable procedure. To carry out Internal Auditing of the Company Quality System Against procedure and National Standards. To support Final Inspection activity to ensure compliance to customer, specification and drawing requirements.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
* Supporting Final Inspection activity to ensure compliance to customer, specification and drawing requirements.
* First Article Inspection and Reporting
* Internal Auditing of the QMS against procedure and National Standards (training provided)
* Preparation of documentation for External Audits
* Monitoring and Reporting of company metrics
* Management and Reporting of Non-conformance and Root Cause Corrective Action
* On-site parking
* Life insurance
* Sick pay (Subject to probationary period)
* Early finish on Friday
