Recruitment Profile
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
* Contribute to planning processes for the curriculum in line with local and national guidelines to meet the needs of children in an inclusive setting.
* Implement plans to deliver effective early years' services, including setting up spaces, planning experiences, maintaining resources, supervising children, promoting hygiene, and providing nurturing interactions.
* Observe, record, and contribute to assessments and reporting on children's progress.
* Liaise with parents, multidisciplinary teams, and other agencies.
* Support and guide college students, trainees, and new practitioners, and contribute to progress reports.
* Stay updated with curriculum initiatives and participate in training.

Essential Qualifications
* HNC in Childhood Practice/Childcare & Education, or
* SVQ Social Services (Children & Young People) SCQF 7 / SVQ 3 Children's Care, Learning & Development, or
* SNNEB/NNEB with evidence of ongoing CPD in the past 5 years.
All successful applicants must register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 3 months of appointment and maintain registration throughout employment.
