Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Plumbing Department Assistant to support the daily operations of our department. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring efficient workflow and communication within the team. This position requires knowledge of plumbing products strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Duties
* Provide administrative support to department manager
* Assist in serving customers both in person and on the phone.
* Maintain accurate records and files, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
* Handle incoming correspondence, including emails and phone calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
* Ordering appropriate stock to ensure our product range meets customer requirements.
* Support team members with various tasks as needed to promote a collaborative work environment.
Experience
* Previous experience in a Plumbing sales support role is preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
