We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various tasks on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Duties
* Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
* Perform general maintenance tasks and site clean-up
* Follow instructions from supervisors and assist skilled tradespeople as needed
* Operate basic tools and machinery safely and effectively
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
* Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
Experience
* Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential
* Familiarity with construction tools and equipment is beneficial
* Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated
* Strong communication skills to effectively follow instructions
* Physical fitness to handle the demands of manual labour
