Seeking an LSA/Teaching Assistant!
* Do you want to make a real difference?
* Do you love working with children and young people who have experienced challenges in mainstream education?
* Do you have a background in education, healthcare, or social care?
* Or even personal experience supporting children with SEND?
If so, this could be the role for you!
Protocol Education are looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant to join an Alternative Provision school in Harlow, West Essex.
You will be joining a supportive and dedicated team working with students who have been permanently excluded from, or require additional support due to difficulties at, mainstream schools. Our students often have multiple vulnerabilities, with many having undiagnosed additional learning needs. A friendly, patient, and positive approach, along with the ability to quickly build strong relationships with young people, is essential.
Experience in SEND or working with SEMH/PMLD students is highly valued, but not essential — a desire to support this group is what matters most. Certificates in Manual Handling, Hoist, First Aid, or Care would be admired.
