About Us
We are a friendly, supportive, mixed practice in beautifully scenic Mid Argyll. The clinic in Lochgilphead currently has four full-time vets, one part-time vet, an RVN and four receptionists who also assist with animal care. A new graduate would be fully supported by the team (one vet is a Vet GDP adviser). There are no branch surgeries, no evening clinics and no routine weekend appointments (emergency service only provided). This job would suit a vet who will be happy to work in a rural environment, who values living within a close-knit community, and enjoys working in a small, dedicated team. The area provides an ideal environment to enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities and sports.
Lochgilphead is 50 miles north of Campbeltown and 37 miles south of Oban, gateway port to the Inner and Outer Hebrides. Glasgow is 90 miles away by road.Lochgilpheadis a small town surrounded by countryside and satellite villages, in Mid Argyll on the west coast of Scotland.
