MEICA Project Engineer – Environment
Cornwall/Devon
What you will be doing:
An opportunity has arisen for an MEICA Project Engineer to join the team at Galliford Try.
You will work on our South West Water Frameworks within our Environment Business, which is experienced in delivering schemes of varying sizes, mainly in the Water Industry, across Treatment Waste and Water schemes.
Ideally, you will be based in or around the Devon/Cornwall area and will have the opportunity to travel across multiple sites/projects in the region.
Our Environment Business values entrepreneurship and innovation. As a Project Engineer, you will share market-leading suggestions and ideas with the Project Delivery team to lead in optimization and performance.
You will work as part of the Project Delivery Team, assisting with site documentation, writing reports, and maintaining standards across the project.
Daily tasks include collaborating with engineers to ensure a safe site, updating plans, identifying changes, and reporting to the Site Supervisor.
We prioritize a safe, collaborative working environment, emphasizing health and safety for all.
About You:
You should have a relevant engineering qualification, a passion for your discipline, and strong logical and critical thinking skills. Experience in a multi-site or Water Industry setting is desirable but not essential.
On-site, you should hold ECS, SSSTS, SMSTS, City & Guilds Confined Space Training, Appointed Persons for craneage, and other relevant certifications. We will support your training needs.
