The HR, Compliance and HSE administrator is a diverse role, providing administrative support to both the HR and HSE Team. They are outstanding in their organisational skills, and take pride in ensuring a smooth office operation, including managing communications, scheduling meetings, data entry, filing and supporting staff. With strong IT skills, they are a true multitasker, and pride themselves on providing support and efficiencies across departments. Key Responsibilities, HR: Working in conjunction with the HR Advisor, manage all the HR administration, including the collection of return to work forms, letters of concerns, probationary reviews, enrolment of benefit programs etc. Manage the Absence Process, ensuring that all staff absences are recorded, logged and reported. Escalate any further actions required to the HR Team. Provide administrative support to the HR Team in the recruitment process. Issue contracts of employment to all new starters and create new starter records on the HR System. Update the HR System with any change of information requests from employees. Update and maintain the HR Employee files. Manage the Grade Increase Process, ensuring that all increases are processed in a timely manner and that regular audits take place to ensure that all employees are on the correct grade and that the Master Employee Sheet is up to date at all times. Manage the Employee of the Month scheme, sending reminder emails and providing a spreadsheet for the Leadership Team to select the winners. Provide general administrative support to the Head of Development and Compliance as and when required. Maintain and update the Training System. Key Responsibilities, HSE: Support the HSE Manager in: The implementation of Safety Policies: Develop, enforce, and monitor health and safety guidelines to reduce workplace accidents and injuries. The organisation and delivery of health and safety training programs to educate employees about safety protocols and risk factors. When the HSE Manager is not on site: Conduct Risk Assessments, and regularly evaluate workplace conditions to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. In the event of accidents when the HSE Manager is not on site, conduct investigations, compile reports, and suggest improvements to prevent future occurrences. Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, employees and management regarding health and safety matters. Order, collect and issue PPE as requested by Operations Team. Work with the Warehouse Team to organise collection of waste from site as and when required ensuring documentation is archived. Issue and control Permits to Work to contractors carrying out H&S related work on site. Provided full administrative support to ensure that accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and employee training sessions are fully maintained. Key Responsibilities, Compliance: Provide absence and holiday cover for the Complaints Process ensuring that all customer complaints are acknowledge, logged, investigated and responded to within the determined timescales. Essential Skills & Qualifications IT Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and database systems. Organizational Skills: Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to prioritize. Communication: Clear written and verbal communication. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices. Salary c£32,000 - £34,000 plus 5% bonus potential
