Location: Tamworth (Lichfield Road Industrial Estate)
Pay: £13.25 per hour
Overtime: £14.00 per hour after 40 hours worked
Hours:

• Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
• Friday: 07:00 - 16:00

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established family-run business within the manufacturing industry based on the Lichfield Road Industrial Estate, Tamworth. This Production Operative role involves supporting the manufacture of fibreglass water storage tanks that are produced, distributed, and installed across the UK.

Job Role - Production Operative (Manufacturing Industry)

As a Production Operative in Tamworth, you will be responsible for supporting the production of fibreglass water storage tanks, using hand and power tools, working with fibreglass materials, and ensuring products meet quality standards within the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Trimming fibreglass water tank components
• Laminating fibreglass water tanks
• Working within designated spray booth areas
• Assisting with the manufacturing process from start to finish
• Working closely with the warehouse manager and warehouse team
• Maintaining accurate records and production documentation
• Conducting quality checks on completed products
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Supporting other production duties as required

Requirements

• Previous production or manufacturing experience beneficial but not essential
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
• Willingness to learn new skills
• Ability to work in a physically active manufacturing environment
