Warehouse & logistics supervisor dealing with incoming & outbound shipments UK/ Europe/ Worldwide
The successful candidate will have the following duties & responsibilities:
* Processing goods/ admin. for incoming purchase orders
Processing goods/ admin. for outgoing sales purchase ordersHandling inbound and outbound freightBenchmarking the supply base for best competitive freight service levelsMeasuring overall freight performance & budgets and working on efficienciesPlanning the warehouse and stock with inventory controls and stock takingPurchase order processing and tracking to liaise with sales requirementsIncoming goods inspectionPlanning incoming shipping plans with sales and suppliersInteract with sales, planning order scheduling against customer forecasts/ schedulesSetup & document incoming/ outgoing controls/ processesSetup & document RMT processSome manual work such as Intermittent bench inspection/ test process work (minimal)Back up telephone call support

The ability to lead and motivate othersPeople management experience.Experience in supply chain/ warehouse / DC environment. xxuwjjq Have a technical aptitudeIndependent and self-motivatedStrong written and verbal communication skills.Able to work on their own and use initiative to manage shipping budgets & get best service for our customers meeting deadlinesComputer literateKnowledge/ experience of import/ export and customs clearance processesA forklift licence is preferred
Working hours are: Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm
Salary: Neg. £30 - £35,000+ depending on experience
Benefits: On-site parking / 25 days holiday per annum / Pension scheme after 3 months
