Protocol Education are delighted to be supporting a specialist provision in Ryhope, Sunderland, in their search for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join their committed and experienced team.
The school supports children and young people with a range of complex learning needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), speech and language needs and sensory processing difficulties. Staff work together to create a nurturing and engaging environment where pupils feel safe, valued and empowered to achieve their personal goals.
The successful candidate will join a school that prides itself on delivering a highly personalised curriculum tailored to meet the unique needs of every learner. Through creative teaching approaches and strong therapeutic support, pupils are encouraged to develop communication, independence and life skills alongside their academic learning.
We are looking for a passionate practitioner who has experience supporting pupils with SEND and who can deliver engaging lessons that inspire confidence and promote progress. The role requires close collaboration with support staff, therapists and families to ensure pupils receive consistent support both inside and outside the classroom.
