For the successful Production Technician our client is offering;
1. Starting salary of £31,600 which rises as experience/competence are signed off, if you can run all processes it can rise to £41,220
2. 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts rotating days and nights, 07:25 - 19:35/19:35 - 07:25

As a Production Technician your responsibilities will be:
8. Stay hands-on with the machinery— spotting potential faults, investigating issues and problem solving to prevent downtime.
9. Ensure 100% compliance with Food Safety, Quality, and Health & Safety standards.
10. Running the line to standard operating procedures, which include start- up and changeovers.
11. Leading a line with machine operators, training and driving performance.
12. Liaising with development teams for improvements on standards to drive continuous improvement, supporting refining processes to boost productivity.
13. Taking ownership of the production line’s performance, ensuring it runs efficiently and is complete control.
What our client is looking for in a Production Technician:
14. An individual with a strong technical mindset, who enjoys working with, setting and operating machinery- ESSENTIAL
15. Technically competent to solve problems, taking action to ensure delivery, gaining support to ensure delivery
16. Experience with changeovers/ basic machine maintenance- ESSENTIAL
17. Someone excited by learning new techniques & technology, with a drive for continuous improvements and lean manufacturing.
18. An effective communicator who listens and gives clear instructions, someone who isn’t afraid of challenge, gaining support when from experts when needed.
19. Ideally experienced within the food or processing industry – although not essential
20. Must be happy/available to attend a numerical and verbal reasoning test- ESSENTIAL
