We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant Haematologist to join a well-established multidisciplinary medical team in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality diagnostic and clinical haematology services, contributing to both malignant and non-malignant haematology care, while supporting service development, teaching, and clinical governance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide consultant-level care in clinical haematology, including both inpatient and outpatient services
2. Diagnose and manage a wide range of malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions
3. Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, including oncology and transfusion services
4. Contribute to chemotherapy planning, transfusion medicine, and supportive care pathways as applicable
5. Support acute haematology services and provide on-call consultant cover as required
6. Work collaboratively with laboratory haematology, nursing, pharmacy, and allied health professionals
7. Lead and contribute to clinical governance, audit, quality improvement, and service development initiatives
8. Supervise, mentor, and teach junior doctors, trainees, and allied healthcare professionals
