About the Job
* Craft personalized care plans collaborating closely with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.
* Ensure accuracy observing daily interactions and conditions, ensuring all care documentation is precise, legal, and easily understood by the team.
* Lead with confidence organizing and guiding your team, ensuring everyone knows their role in delivering top-notch care.
* Facilitate seamless transitions overseeing shift handovers, ensuring clear communication and continuity of care.
* Monitor health performing routine observations and managing specific health needs, always with an eye on detail and safety.
* Administer medications safely managing and administering medications, adhering strictly to MAR sheets and protocols.
* Build relationships fostering strong, trusting relationships with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals, addressing concerns with empathy and urgency.
* Promote independence supporting residents in daily activities, encouraging autonomy while providing hands-on assistance as needed.
* Act on feedback being responsive to team input, ensuring resident health and well-being are always prioritized.
* Champion respect upholding the dignity and individuality of every resident, advocating for their needs and preferences.
* Encourage engagement facilitating social interactions and activities, enriching the lives of residents and creating a vibrant community.
* Prioritize safety maintaining a vigilant eye on health and safety, ensuring a secure environment for all.
* Support nutrition advocating for balanced nutrition and hydration, monitoring residents at risk of weight changes or dehydration.
* Respond to emergencies being prepared to act swiftly in emergencies, utilizing the on-call system and reflective practices to continually improve our care.
About You
* You're a Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC Nursing PIN.
* While care home experience is a plus, what really matters is your passion for care and your dedication to improving the lives of our residents.
* You have a natural ability to connect with people—residents, families, and colleagues alike—bringing warmth, understanding, and a calm, patient demeanor to every interaction.
