The Cross Commodity Trader reports to the Long Term Trading Operations Manager with Energia. The responsibilities of the Front Office team include trade analysis and execution, portfolio optimisation and the daily trading operations required to participate in the Irish energy markets. Working to buy and sell a range of energy-related commodities across multiple markets, this role offers an exciting career opportunity with a dynamic and ever-changing environment for a capable and driven individual. About you Degree with strong numerical / analytical / financial focus and at least 3 years experience in an energy trading environment. Excellent numeric and analytical ability, capable of presenting findings and clear recommendations to senior management. Proficient in MS Office, trading and risk management systems. Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to manage high-value trades daily based on a deep understanding of commodity fundamentals (supply / demand, seasonality, geopolitics). Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively within a team.
