An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and dedicated Year 3 Class Teacher to join a thriving and supportive primary school in Nottinghamshire from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent role, ideal for either an experienced practitioner or a highly motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) with a passion for lower Key Stage 2 teaching.

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver creative, engaging and well-structured lessons to a Year 3 class, ensuring progression and achievement for all pupils.

Plan, teach and assess in line with the National Curriculum and school policies.

Create a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages independence, curiosity and resilience.
*
Use effective assessment methods to monitor pupil progress and plan next steps.
*
Contribute to curriculum development and whole school initiatives as part of the Key Stage 2 team.

Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and external agencies to support the holistic development of pupils.

Participate in staff meetings, INSET days, and the wider life of the school.
Candidate Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
*
Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly in Years 3 and 4.

Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching that meets the needs of all learners.

High expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement.
*
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
*
A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to school improvement.
